With a history of nearly 50 years of establishment and development. The university has been renamed from Capilano College into Capilano University in 2008, developing a public university training on 8,2000 students, including more than 1,100 international students from 74 different countries in the world.

Capilano University is located at 2055 Purcell Way,  North Vancouver, BC V7J 3H5, Canada. Capilano has 3 campuses, one in North Vancouver is a steep area with a temperate climate such as Đà Lạt of Việt Nam. It takes only 20 minutes to go downtown Vancouver, an office in Squamish and one at Sechelt mainly serving the student union at  Howe Sound and Sunshine Coast.
